Officially, this years Schengenfest festival starts on 1st of August and lasts til 3rd of August. But there was a surprise; on 31st of July, one extra day before the official opening of the festival, there will be an event with Vlado Kreslin, for all the visitors, who will come to the festival site a day before, to build their tent at the camping site or just to enjoy the surroundings a day earlier.

Schengenfest, located in the beautiful valley of river Kolpa, near Vinica, not far from capitol of Slovenia, Ljubljana and even closer to capitol of Croatia, Zagreb, offers 3 days of fun; great selection of bands, lovely camping area and beautiful surrounding area that makes the festival worth visiting.

This year, on 2 stages (main stage and electro stage), there will be plenty of events to see: Die Antwoord, H.I.M., Morcheeba, 2Cellos, Kiril Djaikovski, Bajaga, Laibach, Moveknowledgement and many more. With 4 days of free camping included. Another reason, why this festival must be on your to-do list for this summer.
